Members enjoy field trips, camp outings,Christian rock concerts, hiking, social get togethers and much more. Teen group activities include Prayer, Bible Study, Music, Movie Nights, Games, Holiday Parties, Hiking/Outdoor Field Trips, Messy Games Night (Not for the squeamish or faint of heart, but LOTS of fun), Weekend Lock-downs with focused worship, Milagro and Caliche field trips, plus Camp Stoney summer camps. Thanks to our Clergy, the Vestry and willing parents that keep us going! All denominations are welcome! Ages 12-18.

Memorial Tree 2010.Memorial Tree Planted

On Sunday, May 16th, members of the Youth Group of St. James', which has been led so faithfully and happily over the years by Pete Strader, planted and dedicated a Southern Live Oak tree in his memory. Pete went to meet our Lord on April 3, 2010. His wife and daughter, Debbie and Petrina, were there to help with the planting.

According to Debbie, the Southern Live Oak trees are common where Pete grew up in Florida. This hardy tree will someday grow large and strong, always reminding us of God's love for us and praising Him for sending Pete to serve in His name.

Sometimes people have to travel by foot, boat, donkey, or airplane to get to these difficult places. The Voice of the Martyrs supports Russell Stendal, a missionary pilot who drops Christian books and radios, pre-set to Christian programming, into isolated guerrilla-controlled regions in the jungle or in rural areas. The books and radios float to the ground by small parachutes..." Read More...
