"The vestry shall have responsibility for the business matters of the parish, including providing, keeping in good order, a house of worship and all the necessary
furnishings and appointments of the same; providing all things requisite to the carrying on of the work of the parish,
and making payments of all parish obligations, including the fair share and other obligations to the Diocese."
Saint James' Vestry is currently composed of nine
members from the congregation. They will serve for a term of three years. All Vestry meetings are conducted by the Rector. At an open meeting, held annually,
Vestry members are elected by the eligible, voting members of the congregation in order to fill any open positions. The Senior Warden is appointed by the
Parish Rector. The Junior Warden is elected from within the Vestry membership.
